We are delighted to share some exciting updates from our recent trip to Milan, where the creative journey for our Autumn/Winter 2025 collection began. This trip is essential in sourcing the finest Italian materials, and we’re eager to give you a glimpse behind the scenes of the start of our design process!
Our first stop in Milan was with our trusted Italian tanneries, where we carefully selected a variety of new leathers. These high-quality off-cuts are now with Nicola back in our Suffolk HQ, where she will start her design process and create samples for our upcoming collections. The materials sourced for A/W 2025 are truly exceptional, and we took great care to ensure we didn’t miss anything by also exploring new tanneries. We are thrilled with the luxurious textures and colors we’ve found and can’t wait to bring them to life in our designs.
A key highlight of the trip, and one of Nicola’s favourite stages of the design process, is visiting our buckle suppliers. Every buckle is handpicked to complement our designs, and we’ve selected some striking pieces that will add the perfect finishing touch to next year’s collection.
In addition to sourcing materials, this trip allowed us to secure a new factory for handbag and belt production, located near our footwear factory between Pisa and Florence. This close proximity streamlines production, ensuring that both our footwear and handbags are crafted from the exact same cuts of leather, allowing us to achieve perfect colour and material matches across our collections.
We are also pleased to announce that, starting during this A/W season, all purchases will arrive in newly designed dust bags and new premium boxes—a small touch that we believe enhances the overall purchasing experience.
